The Legend of Sleepy Phillip

It seems like the hiatus I have unintentionally taken is finally coming to an end.  It has just been so difficult lately to find some free time, what with homecoming, preparing for Halloween, midterms, and - you guessed it - Phillip.  He spent the last couple of days making the absolute best Halloween decorations for our dorm room.  He's extremely resourceful, and I have a lot to learn from him still.  Using a ballpoint pen, two mattresses, four blankets, a bike chain, and a step ladder, Phillip has transformed our dorm room into a haunted halloween extravaganza.  I was so scared the first time I walked in!  Phillip bought some dry ice in order to create a sort of fog effect.  And boy, is it effective!  I told Phillip he should write a really really scary movie script.  He'd make millions - even trillions!  But maybe I just get overexcited for Phillip.  But one day in the future all the hype will be completely justified.  I am looking forward to what the future has in store for Phillip.  He'll strike it so rich some day, people will be asking him to loan them money.  He'll be that rich!  I just can't wait to go trick-or-treating with Phillip this year.  He's dressing up as Donald Rumsfeld, and I think I'll go as Roger Clemens.  I just know that Phillip will show me up!  But that's perfectly alright with me.  I enjoy admiring Phillip more than I do having people admire me.  I couldn't be more excited.  Halloween, here Phillip and I come! :)

Phillip As A Reference Book And A Dinosaur: Philsaurus

My days with Phillip seem to get more and more exciting as the days pass.  We've shared so many memories that it would put a 'Nam vet to shame.  I'm starting to consider making a scrapbook.  You know, something for physical value that I can give to my kids some day.  Who knows? Maybe they'll be best friends with a Crawford of their own.  The world works in mysterious ways.  However, I'm glad that it has worked out the way it has with Phillip and me.  From the strolls around campus to the countless hours of Calculus homework, it would be hard for things to get any more perfect.  Phillip went to Walmart just the other day to stock up on bottled water and powdered milk.  He says that it's for next hurricane season.  I believe that he is a man of great foresight, and I greatly admire that.  For example, Phillip and I were having a conversation about Morrissey, and the song "You Have Killed Me" came on the radio in the next few minutes!  I was absolutely blown away.  I told Phillip that he should open his own telephone psychic hotline.  He just laughed it off, but I really think he would prosper! Pretty soon we'll all be phoning Phillip for advice about the future.  Try it out for yourself!  I promise you won't be disappointed.  The absolute last thing that Phillip Crawford could/would do to a person is disappoint them! :)
