If Phillip Weren't an American, He Might Be of Some Other Nationality

Today was by far the most fun I've had with Phillip since last week. I don't know where to begin. This morning Phillip and I took a morning walk around campus, just to get some good ol' fresh air. He loves nature, and I think he tries to commune with it. Getting to know the spiritual side of Phillip is always interesting. I think that he was an old ruggish pioneer in his past life and went on the trek to map out the West for the United States. He strikes me as that type of person. Minus the typhoid! :) So we made our way to the rec center and geared up for some raquetball. Phillip has a lot of learning to do, but he is so persistent, and a quick learner. He'll get the hang of it! Then we headed over to the cafeteria for some grub. We were both famished. And then Phillip did something even more amazing than the garlic incident. He pulled out his Calculus homework and started working on it! Right at dinner! Everyone began to crowd around him. And boy, did they get a show. He was solving equations and eating Jell-o faster than the speed of a really really fast airplane. I kid you not. I'm really proud of how hard he works. I really enjoy eating dinner with Phillip. He always gives exotic names to the desserts. He calls the banana pudding that they serve "Bananrama Express". And the chocolate cake "Gulf War Syndrome: The Sequel". He doesn't really like the chocolate cake... But I admire his creativity a ridiculous amount. What will he think of next? Who knows! :)

But Nothing Rhymes With "Phillip Crawford". EXCEPTIONAL!

As I'm sitting here typing my fourth installment in the "Phil Up Your Life With Phillip" series, I realize how fortunate I am to have such a good friends as the one and only Phillip Crawford. Seriously. This guy would do anything for me. We went to Papa John's for some delicioso pizza earlier today. So we both order our own separate meals - I order a personal pizza with some breadsticks and Phillip orders a salad. When I got my food, I realized that the amount of garlic sauce they had given was not going to satisfy my needs. Now here's the amazing part: I didn't even have to say a word, and Phillip goes up to the counter and PAYS for a whole new container of garlic sauce. With his OWN money! Words can't describe how proud I was of him. I thanked him endlessly, but he just wouldn't have it. He said he believed that it was his own personal duty. He's such a good guy. Phillip just got finished with his laundry. He's always so clean. I admire that. Well, I guess we'll just have to see what tomorrow has in store for us. Check back soon! :)

Phillip in the Morning: How Are You?

Good morning everybody! I just woke up and the sun is starting to shine in the windows of our dorm. I'm trying not to wake up Phillip. He sleeps in late often, but he deserves to for all the hard work he puts in at our school. He says that I type too loud, so I'm typing verrry slowly. Phillip always gets cranky if he's woken up before he wants to. Don't tell him, but I'm stealing some of the food he bought for himself for breakfast. I can't help it though! Cinnamon Toast Crunch is so addicting! Last night Phillip and I stayed up until 1:00 in the morning. I was quizzing him with flashcards and he was on fire! Then we surfed MSNBC news on the internet and got caught up on all the current events together. Afterwards, we talked about what we wanted to do after college. You know, life plans and all the jazz. Phillip always talks about his dreams of engineering a new biofuel that will eliminate all dependancy on gasoline. I know that he could do it if he really put his mind to it. I told him that he should be a motivational speaker. I don't know why it is, but I always feel 10x better about myself after talking to him. I can't state enough how much of a great guy that kid is. He's going places. Oops! He's beginning to wake up I think. I hope it wasn't my fault! :)

Phillip Crawford DDS

I can sum up today in basically one word: triumph. Now of course I'm talking about how Phillip aced his first Biotech test! He ran back from class today to tell me the good news. His face gleamed with joy and I could tell he was proud of himself. I was proud of him as well. He called all of our other friends to tell them the good news as well. All everyone is talking about is how well he did! Afterwards, we really didn't do much. So far we've just been sitting around the dorm making small talk. We talked about dogs, philosophy, the circulatory system, and furniture. Having conversations with Phillip is probably one of my most favorite things in the world, and I'm glad that he always has something to say. Our buds from across the hall came over and we all played Scrabble. Phillip won (of course), but I think he cheated. I mean come on... "stotch"? He says its a dental term. And since he IS the one with all the dental experience, I chose not to challenge it, because I trust him. We heated up some Easy Mac and watched Boston Legal. So far I'm having a really great time! :)

Congrats on the A+ again, Phillip!

1st day was a DOOZIE. Codename: Phillip Esq.

Life with Phillip sure is getting interesting. We finally moved in together for college. I think it should be fun, and I'm looking forward to finding out who the REAL Phillip is. He went to his first Biotech class today, and has spent a good half hour complaining about all the work. I think he'll do fine. He's a really hard worker, and I really admire that. Then again, he ALWAYS seems to be doing some kind of work. But that's alright. I think it may be one of the things I like about him. For some reason, he brought up his scooter for fall semester. He rides that thing all over campus like it's nobody's business. I think it's a bit strange, but hey, it keeps him happy. We don't have any classes together this semester, but that's alright. I have enough Phillip as a room mate. He just got off the phone with his parents. I told him to tell his sister I said "Hi". She's a really nice girl. Takes after Phillip quite a bit. I am really anxious to see how this semester is going to turn out with Phillip. I think we're about to go get some food at the dining hall together. He complains that the pasta needs improvement, but I think it's fine the way it is.

I have a good feeling about this blog and I hope you do as well. I'll be posting regularly, so check back soon!

And remember: Phil Up Your Life With Phillip! :)
